We would like to give back to the community by supporting a local NGO. AfriPaw Animal Welfare is a registered NPO (198-652). They partner with underprivileged communities to improve the wellbeing of township pets. They educate families on their pets’ primary needs and facilitate access to affordable support services with a focus on free mass sterilization.

Their vision is to see communities that treasure their pets, provide for their needs and protect them from suffering and disease. At this point they are focusing their efforts exclusively on Vrygrond, home to approximately 90 000 residents and thousands of dogs and cats. Vrygrond is reputedly the oldest informal settlement in the Western Cape and is situated close to Muizenberg.

We at Emerge Digital have collected 67 empty glass coffee jars (Jacobs and Nescafe) that we would like to fill with animal treats and donate to AfriPaw. On Mandela Day, AfriPaw will be giving 67 kennels to sterilized township pets and we want to include an extra treat for each of them. We are looking for any donations from small treats to bags of food. You can show your support by dropping donations off at Emerge Digital. Making a difference starts with you.
